Why
would I need a corporate video? A professionally made corporate
video can greatly enhance your corporate image. They enable you to
demonstrate your product in action, with testimonials of satisfied
customers, they can be used to teach skills to a large and geographically
diverse audience, and hence save on the large expenses involved with
repeated training of staff on new products/services within the company.
They can also save on the expense of travelling form location to location
to convey the same message across the same area.
Who writes the script for these videos?
GN Media will usually work alongside your company to create a dynamic
and interesting script, the amount of input from each side depends
entirely on the needs of your company, and we will usually work with
you to create a tailor made service.
Who
are you seeing getting the most value out of your videos? It's across the board. We wanted to level the playing field and make
it possible for a small business or individual working out of their
home to create a professional video. We have a lot of small businesses
that are now able to compete with the big businesses by creating videos
for their websites and CDROMs and making them look like they
spent thousands of pounds, but just doing it in-house. Were
also seeing the big companies use us as well because it saves them
so much time and money since they don't have to have a multimedia
team of their own. If they want to do an HR video or a press announcement,
we can just do it during a day, and have it ready the next! We're
also seeing a great deal of educational use. Lots of hobby activities
out there need advertising and promoting . When you can see it and
not just read about it
that is the difference in creating desire
for that activity or hobby.
How Effective IS Video For Marketing? Many studies over the years corroborate the persuasive effectiveness
of video. The London School of Business showed that video boosts comprehension
and retention by 50% over a live presentation. Other industry studies
have shown that video expedites buying decisions by 72% versus print.
And that six times as many people prefer a video to printed information.
Now using sophisticated, state of the art technology, well increase
your exposure by giving you a presentation that looks like it cost
tens of thousands.

What
type of video format do you work on? Obviously, the higher
standard video formats are more expensive, so a small 2 or 3 person
company may not be able to budget for these high definition video
formats, for more information on video formats see video formats.
Below we have created the following guidelines to help you understand
formats.
Broadcast format: Broadcast format
is for projects that are to be broadcast on Television, as the name
suggests. Most TV programmes are filmed on broadcast formats. Digi
Beta and Beta SP are broadcast formats widely used. We use Betacam
on Bluechip applications (see sample price list)
Industrial format: (What GN Media
use mainly) Industrial format is used for a large portion of the corporate
video projects we undertake, it is generally used when a higher quality
than the consumer formats are needed, but without the expense and
requirements of broadcast format. Industrial format is generally used
for projects such as what get noticed media produces
.video promos,
training videos, safety videos and conference and exhibition reports,
for example. DVCam and DVPRO are widely used Industrial formats and
what we shoot all our videos on, apart from Bluechip applications.
Industrial format recordings are sometimes on Television, especially
in news production and documentaries.
Consumer Format: Personal projects,
Home Videos etc
Digital 8 and Hi8 are consumer formats (We dont
use these formats as the quality doesnt have professional resolution).
Can you input pictures from our current marketing,
and our logo onto video? What other file formats can you input from?
If you have pictures, logos of your own that you would like
to incorporate into your video, thats great. Just give us the
media on a disc before we film your video. We can accept digital camera
pictures, PowerPoint slides, captured video from camcorders and images
downloaded from the Internet. Video Files (AVI, WMV, ASF, MPG) Pictures
and Graphics (BMP, JPG, GIF, PNG) PowerPoint Slides .ppt files. Audio
and Music (WAV, MP3, WMA).
What file formats do you output onto?
After your video is recorded, you're ready to share it with anyone
in the world via the Internet, corporate network or by burning a DVD
or video CDROM. The published video files can be viewed by anyone
using the RealOne® Player or the standard Windows Media Player®
that is included with Microsoft Windows. You can select any level
of compression for your audience, so that your videos can be easily
shared in high quality over the Internet. Additionally, we can publish
high resolution videos (720 x 480) for DVD, DV tape, projector presentations
and more. We can also put your video onto DVD and create menu systems
